Great upgrade to a ruger precision rimfire rifle. This rimfire rifle already had a decent trigger but the flat shoe double stage timney took this lower end rimfire to the next level, consistent 1/2" groups hands down. Hats off to Anarchy Outdoors for spot on quick and error free shipping, trigger was delivered on time and took about 10 to 15 minutes to install.

Do you need it? The original trigger is very good, short stroke, little over 2 pounds, nice let off.
BUT, the Timney is altogether a different beast. Buttery first stage, hold on the second and 1 pound surprise let of. Couple of other people tried it on the range and some pressed the trigger second time, feeling that it failed and not realizing that the target had another hole. Incredibly precise trigger. The price here is the best around as well.
Back to the original question, do you need it, no. But if you buy it you will have the biggest grin every time you will pul it.
