Do not pay attention to reviewers that had trouble with install. It was simple and I was putting 3 shots in the same hole next day at 100 yards1/2 moa improvement no shit adjusted to 1.5 lbs

This is an awesome trigger! The factory trigger was creepy, gritty and only adjusted down to 5 lbs or so. This one is crisp light and a 100% fix. Be aware it takes a smaller punch than 1/16 to push the pins all the way thru tho. I used a very small drill bit from a dremel to do it.

This is a must have for the Ruger American. It not only gets ride of the the weird factory Trigger but is so smooth and is adjustable. Great addition!
