Taking a Look at the T/C Venture

Before the Venture, Thompson/Center produced the T/C Icon, a beast of a rifle with weight to match the price tag. However, they soon realized they needed to find a way to reach a wider audience.

In 2009, the T/C Venture hit the market. This model was an economical version of the T/C Icon.

As a result, T/C produced a budget-friendly, light-weight hunting rifle with match grade features. A perfect fit for any shooter at an entry-level price.

Also compatible with the Venture II.

Why You Should Add an Aftermarket Bolt Handle

Most shooters find as they continue shooting, that their factory gun doesn't cut it. They either add aftermarket replacement parts or upgrade to a model with a higher price tag and beefier features.

One of the ways to add a personal touch to your TC Venture while increasing its functionality is to replace the bolt handle. While this rifle's bolt handle doesn't have any issues, it also isn't customizable, which is where Anarchy Outdoors comes in.

Replacement bolt handle

I am currently using my T/C venture 2 in 223 as a trainer for prs type shooting. This supplements the two 308 precision rifles I have. The factory bolt handle is too short which is remedied with the new bolt and bolt handle which gives more leverage. The bolt manipulation is much easier but not quite as smooth as my Tikka UPR but significantly better than stock. I looked at u tube video for installation and was able to do it without a second person helping.

I've come to absolutely love my TC Venture chambered in 7MM08. I've improved on It's excellent out of box accuracy with a custom stock and bedding, performance springs just to name a few. The bolt change was a finishing touch for me.. A quality and functional improvement.

The bolt handle was my only complaint for my Venture rifle. The Anarchy bolt handle was the perfect upgrade and a little custom touch by getting to chose the knob! Super easy to install too!!!

Good piece of gear. Much better than stock. Stainless/titanium is not an exact match with the coated barrel and action but it looks good, works well.
