Mag Flag
Takes some getting used to especially moving the chamber insert and taking it back out when removing . Rather bulky to carry in one’s pocket.
However, a solid empty chamber indicator. Won’t slip out. Actual chamber insert is never exposed to dirt when not in use. And it DOES work EXACTLY as advertised and expected. It’s just different from any other chamber flag I’ve ever owned.
One improvement could be used, but not necessary. An actual flag could be attached to the bottom of the block so there would be no doubt that a chamber flag / block was in use. (Some MD’s don’t like Chamber Blocks because they can’t easily see the r difference between a chamber block and a magazine, a reasonable mistake).
Because of the advantages, I’d give it a highly recommended. Use it, get used to using it over a typical chamber flag and you’ll like it. -
The Mag Flag 9 (RImfire)
After watching the reviews on U Tube I purchased one. Very well made and easy to see from both sides. The video mentioned the weight seemed a little excessive and I agree. I disassembled and there are 6 1oz. steel weights. I removed 4 and 2oz. seemed the perfect weight. My only complaint is the weights are a tight fit and double sided tape was used making it difficult to remove.
Eliminate the double sided tape so shooter's can easily adjust weight and you have a 5.
Very pleased. -
Mag Flag
OK, it works OK. I wound up painting the insert red. Also I usually run a piece of shock cord to keep my blot from flopping around. using the large hole it winds of retracting the chamber flag from the tension. Is there a way for me too drill another hole to use the shock cord without interfering with the chamber flag?

Mag Flag
Finally a chamber flag that does it all. It’s the perfect safety device for the range. Fills the magwell and with a quick slide lever it’s a chamber flag. The Mag Flag isn’t the old chamber flag you throw on the ground and have to search for after the stage. Put it in your empty mag holster and it’s there when you need it. It’s the best of both worlds. Meets all safety requirements. They hit it out of the park.
