Option 1
- Fill out a Minnesota Uniform Firearm Application/Receipt Permit to Purchase/Transfer. Submit the application to your local police chief, or if your municipality does not have a police department, to your county's sheriff. The law enforcement agency will conduct a series of background-related checks to assure you meet eligibility requirements established in state law.
- Once those checks are complete, a one-year permit to purchase a handgun in Minnesota will be issued. If you are applying for a permit to transfer the law enforcement agency must notify you of its status within seven days of receipt.
Option 2
- If you want to make a one-time purchase of a handgun from a dealer and you do not have a permit to purchase, you may apply directly at the gun shop where you will purchase the handgun. The gun shop will require you to complete a consent form that allows them to conduct a name and date-of-birth background check to determine your eligibility to purchase a gun. However, some businesses may choose to follow other business practices. The gun shops are entitled to charge a fee for this service.
Option 3
- Possession of a valid, Minnesota Permit to Carry constitutes a permit to purchase. You do not need a separate permit to purchase.

PRODUCTS LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
ACK Enterprises, Inc. DBA Anarchy Outdoors (Anarchy Outdoors) Products Liability Disclaimer can be found by clicking here or reading below.
By accepting delivery Anarchy Outdoors product(s) you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions:
Anarchy Outdoors is proud of the quality and detail that goes into each product manufactured. While confident that Anarchy Outdoors customers are receiving top of the line products, it is an undeniable fact that firearms are inherently dangerous and their use can cause serious injury and/or death.
The detailed design of the product you ordered requires that the proper product be used with the proper firearm only. You should never handle or install your Anarchy Outdoors product without first checking that the fit is proper while the firearm is unloaded (double check to make sure that the chamber is empty).
The use of any trigger shoes, grip adapters, laser sights, or any alterations to the frame or dimensions of the firearm itself may cause improper product fit and thus cause negligent discharge. Anarchy Outdoors products are manufactured for the specific gun it is molded to. Do not, in any way, alter your product as this could result in an unsafe fit for your firearm and possible negligent discharge. Anarchy Outdoors and its owners bear no liability for accidents occurring as a result of a product altered after receipt by the purchaser.
Anarchy Outdoors products are manufactured in an effort to fit the most current model firearms. However, manufacturers of firearms constantly update their product specifications. Even the slightest manufacturing change in a firearm can affect the proper and safe fit of your firearm with the product. Anarchy Outdoors and its owners will not be responsible for such changes or for typographical or other human errors, which can and do occur despite diligent efforts. Should your Anarchy Outdoors product become worn, loose, defective, or ill-fitting at any time, cease use immediately as the product will no longer be safe to use at this time. In the event that your product does become worn, loose, defective, or ill-fitting, contact Anarchy Outdoors immediately for warranty coverage instructions. Anarchy Outdoors accepts no responsibility or liability for accidents or deaths due to their product. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the product is with the buyer.
Always abide by the established rules for the safe handling of a firearm—keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire, always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, only point your firearm at something you are willing to damage and be sure of your target and its backstop before firing. Keep your firearm away from and out of the reach of children. Use in this manner could damage the product, lead to an unintentional discharge, and/or cause serious injury or even death.
Because Anarchy Outdoors has no control over how its products will be used, or who they will be used by following their purchase, Anarchy Outdoors and its owners disclaim any and all liability for incidental or consequential damages to people and/or property resulting from any use of Anarchy Outdoors products. The decision to carry a firearm, either for recreation or for personal defense, carries the risk and potential for injury and/or death. Therefore, it is advised that you seek out and acquire proper training before using a firearm or any firearm related product.
All products manufactured and sold by Anarchy Outdoors are sold “as is” and “with all possible faults.”
