I would have given it 5 stars but there was a noticeable burr in one of the ports and two large curls of metal shavings from the milling still inside the cavity, no doubt from the threading. QC counts. I took caring of it and cleaned it up, but somebody should have caught it before shipping. It won't stop me from buying more of their products. Everybody deserves grace. It was probably a fluke.

I have not performed a "before and after" comparison, but I expect to see only a modest decrease in the recoil. An RPR in 17 HMR has very little recoil in the first place. The quality of this muzzle brake is outstanding and I am very pleased with my purchase. And you can't argue with the cool factor.

I like the finish and it screwed right in .. a little loctite blue and all set.
