The lever is sturdy and works well. Two items of note. The thickness of the lever covers up the magnification numbers on the scope. More importantly, the scope is mounted to a Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle and when the lever is in the max magnification it can interfere with the manual operation of the bolt.

This went on easily and makes adjusting the magnification much easier. My only complaint is that at full magnification the handle catches my hand as I cycle the bolt on my Ruger RPS. That's the only reason for the 4 stars. Maybe on other rifles this won't be a problem, but I have to be careful when at full magnification (27) in cycling the bolt so it doesn't catch my hand.
