The Sawtooth Dovetail Rail for Ruger Precision

Our friends at Sawtooth Rifles have made some pretty cool dovetail rails. This handguard adaptor is neat because it mounts directly to the factory rail, allowing the shooter to position a tripod anywhere along the forend of their Ruger rifle. Sawtooth suggests using standard Really Right Stuff or Arca Swiss 1.5" dovetail clamps to attach a tripod.

The rail fits the requirements for the use of the Arca Swiss rail adapted accessories, for me it will be a bipod that can run the length of the rail. In the future it can hold a tripod Mount.

The rail is needed especially in PRS shooting but maybe in hunting as well when the shot is placed in a awkward firing position at long range.

Matched perfectly with the handguard, easy install. Has a front stop so arca clamp doesn't slide through.

The level is easy to read. The install is simple, use lock tight even on my 6.5 Creedmoor and remounting Vortex Strike Eagle 5x25x56 with V 1.45 rings a snap. Re zero at 200m sub MOA 5 shot group
