The Alpha grip combines everything you love about the classic Penguin grip and Tuxedo grip with improved trigger finger spacing. Still founded on the input from a former 3rd Ranger Battalion soldier and law enforcement agents, we have taken the precision grip to a new level. This vertical grip provides a quick, repeatable, and ergonomic action on the firearm. It gives precision rifle competitors the edge to outperform the rest of the pack.

Unlike the Penguin grip, this grip has a thumb shelf with a bit more length to help you get a straight pull on your trigger with every shot. The days of pulling shots one way or the other will be a thing of the past. If you don't want to use the thumb shelf, it has a smaller thumb shelf on the other side for a more traditional-style grip. Additionally, we have upgraded the rifle grip with stippling, providing a non-slip grip and an anti-fatiguing palm shelf. The Alpha Grip is lightweight and compatible with any AR-Style rifle. It is the perfect add-on for your precision bolt action rifle.

The thumb shelf reinforces good hand placement on the grip, and positions the trigger finger perfectly and consistently on the trigger. It’s comfortable and texture provides good positive grip. No regrets, only happiness.

I purchased this grip to get a better hand position for precision shooting with my AR10. I wanted a vertical grip with good texture. The Alpha satisfies both needs quite well. As a matter of fact, I liked it so much that i purchased a second one for my AR15 that i am building for precision shooting as well. I will likely purchase a third for my ELR setup.

I was hesitant about how this would actually feel. I'm a new to precision shooter and shooting without wrapping my thumb around the grip I had previously was strange. This grip with the ledge makes it feel natural.

You definitely get that robust feel with this new Alpha! Reprogramming your brain to stop pulling the grip to focus more on your trigger finger, this grip accomplished that and more. You will feel the difference instantly when replacing. I recommend this upgrade!!!
