Description
AD Arms Billet Ruger Precision/American Rifle Cocking Piece
***This Pin Back is compatible with new Gen 2 American rifles***
*NOTE* This firing pin back is not compatible with RPR/American rimfire rifles.
This product is a billet RPR/American Firing Pin Back or cocking piece developed by AD Arms in response to the breakages many have experienced with the factory metal injection molded part. The design allows it to replace the factory part with ease.
This cocking piece is machined from a pre-hardened 4140 alloy billet. It is then nitrided for increased hardness, wear-resistance and corrosion protection. This fully-machined part will get the job done without risk of failure.
Furthermore, this firing pin back is lighter than the stock part. Because it is lighter, it increases lock-time performance while the hardness of the material decreases cocking effort.

Rifle cocking piece
Can't say if it's made a difference yet, installed in two of my Ruger American rifles, but haven't shot yet. I can say it's much nicer than stock, seems stronger and better in appearance. Glad I got them. Anarchy outdoors has been great to deal with, fast shipping and excellent packaging.

AD billet Ruger precision, American rifle, cocking piece
Found this cocking piece due to research on improving Ruger American rifles. This part improves the action on your Ruger rifle tremendously. The action is smoother. The trigger Pull is about 1 pound 3/4. But I also put an MCarbo trigger Spring in. I polished the bolt starting with 600 paper and then polished with a Dremel and finished it with a Titanium bolt shroud. This could possibly be the best improvement You can do the GEN1 Ruger rifle. Thanks Anarchy Outdoors !!

Cocking piece.
I like the look. And the build. Seam's to work well. Have only shot 40 rounds with it though. Watch out when removing the stock piece, I pinched my thumb pretty bad.

Ruger American cocking piece
Nicely machined part and fairly easy installation.
The worst step of the whole operation is compression the firing pin spring to install the Anarchy Arms bolt takedown tool so you can reassemble the bolt.
