Rifle Action Rod for Magnum Rifle Models
This Anarchy Outdoors rifle action rod is for the Ruger Precision Magnum Rifle models. This rod will slip directly into the action of the Magnum rifle, providing overall support for barrel changes. This device makes barrel swapping easy because it removes the need for a barrel vise.
One end of the rifle action rod has a flat-matted surface. This textured surface allows a standard bench vise to grip the rod with ease.
On the opposite end, there are precision-matched external lugs. These lugs mate to the inside of the receiver at the exact spot where support is needed. The rifle action rod eliminates the need to grip the outside of the barrel, potentially marring the surface finish. It also removes unnecessary stress on the receiver.
NOTE: This action rod is not interchangeable with Rugar standard-sized barrels. Anarchy Outdoors offers a standard sized rifle action rod.

RPR Magnum Action Rod
Ordered to remove and replace OEM barrel on a Ruger RPR Magnum rifle. I understand Ruger torques the magnum barrels to 150lbs when being installed. Don't know what the torque was on the barrel I was replacing but would not have been able to get it off without this action rod and having the barrel tightened down in a barrel vise. I highly recommend this tool. Certainly heavy duty, well made and capable of getting the job done.
